Seriously, I believe you can make an adventure out of any place. I'm curious about: reading, writing, music, theater Favorite Music, Artists, Genres: I have a hard time with ‘favorite’ questions—it depends on the day and my mood! I love everything from soundtracks to Broadway musicals to Kanye West. Favorite Books, Writers, Genres: I like nonfiction that makes me think and fiction that’s well-written and original without screaming “look how well-written and original I am!” Recent favorites include “In Defense of Food” by Michael Pollan, and “The Elegance of the Hedgehog” by Muriel Barbery Favorite Movies, Actors, Genres: I love funny movies. If you want to make me laugh, put on something from the 80s with Steve Martin and/or Chevy Chase. Favorite TV Shows, Actors: I don’t watch a lot of TV but love House and 30 Rock. Just got done watching every episode of Arrested Development, which may have been the funniest sitcom ever made. I also like a few Food Network shows, like Good Eats & Iron Chef. Oh, and Spongebob Squarepants. Favorite Places: My favorite place is wherever I am. Seriously, I believe you can make an adventure out of any place. That said, I’d like to return to Palo Alto and New York City sometime soon, and the Lake Tahoe area may be the most ridiculously beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen. I was also very charmed by Salt Lake City when I passed through last year. Interests and Activities: reading, writing, music, theater Wish List: I’d like to have a washing machine/dryer combo that also folds the laundry and puts it away. Also a limousine. It would fit my whole family and we could ride around in style. It would be nice if it came with a driver too.
